Treasure Trove

Treasure Trove approached us to bring the store to life for its September opening.

It's a tricky room to work in, because every object in it is already for sale and already asking for your attention. Flowers that compete with the stock just make the room harder to read.

They were opening in September, so we took the whole palette autumnal: rust, brick, ochre, plum, and a warm yellow.

Their vintage dining table was easily the best piece in the room, so we kept it clear and built above it instead. Preserved flower installation hung from the ceiling, wide enough to hold the table, with long amaranthus falling from it so your eye travels back down to the wood. It doubles as a marker for how you move through the store.

We dressed the windows to be read from the street, then worked vases in silver and brass across the counters, tabletops and corners, pink through to deep red.
